The following rules are the agreement between the Administration of The International Association of Marine Consultants and Surveyors (IAMCS) and the users of the website (the Site), who use information and services offered through the site according to the rules of agreement. 1. Courses fee:
When your application is approved, you will be contacted and given details on how to pay for your course. Courses fees are as follows if registering for individual courses: If registering during the incentive period there is an offered discount, the course fees are exempt from VAT. An extension of training period is subject to approval of the institute; in case of positive outcome you will be billed accordingly.
2. Course content:
- Studying time: Core and specialist modules- We recommend 60+ hours study time for each unit with additional time for research. The content of the course is subject to change at the discretion of the course program director.
- Work full time and study part time:
Most maritime professional diploma students work full time and study part time . This flexible route to earning a qualification allows you to do as much as study as you can alongside your job.
- Language of the course:
This course will be conducted entirely in English, in written format, so a good level of English is essential.

4. Course start date:
The training will start immediately upon receipt of your payment.
5. Confidentiality:
Students are advised that assignments are processed as confidential and will not be shared with any third party outside IAMCS.
6. Cancelation policy:
Cancellation after the delivery of the course material is not refundable. In all instances, switching to another course or transfer of your registration to a colleague is always possible.
7. Intellectual:
Unless otherwise stated, we or our licensors own the intellectual property rights in the website and material on the website. Subject to the license below, all our intellectual property rights are reserved.
8. Law and jurisdiction:
This notice will be governed by and construed in accordance with English law, and any disputes relating to this notice shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction.
9. License to use web training platform:
You may view, download for caching purposes only and print pages from the platform, provided that:
